RM of Woodworth

The Rural Municipality of Woodworth is located in southwestern Manitoba, and is only 45 minutes west of Manitoba's second largest city, Brandon. Woodworth is ideally located close to the towns of Virden, Rivers, Oak Lake and the village of Hamiota. This connection of urban areas and numerous surrounding municipalities creates a strong trading area. Woodworth is located three hours from both Winnipeg and Regina, giving it an excellent location for major Canadian markets.

Notice of Temporary Road Closure: Please be advised that Rd. 153W, between PR257 and Rd. 56N, (Cemetery Road at the bridge) will be closed to through traffic on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 8:30 am for major road repairs. The road is expected to be reopened by 5:00 p.m.

MIT has said that Road Bans are set to begin on Friday morning at 6:00 a.m. Spring Road Restrictions for the R.M. of Wallace-Woodworth will only be in place for Ward 2 (former R.M. of Wallace boundaries) and will be handled much the same as they were last year.
