RM of Woodworth

The Rural Municipality of Woodworth is located in southwestern Manitoba, and is only 45 minutes west of Manitoba's second largest city, Brandon. Woodworth is ideally located close to the towns of Virden, Rivers, Oak Lake and the village of Hamiota. This connection of urban areas and numerous surrounding municipalities creates a strong trading area. Woodworth is located three hours from both Winnipeg and Regina, giving it an excellent location for major Canadian markets.

**NOTICE - ROAD CLOSURE ** Road 71 N is closed until further notice from Road 142 W to Road 140 W due to spring thaw and a collapsed culvert. It has been barricaded and under no circumstances should it be used. Thank you for your understanding.

The Rural Municipality of Woodworth’s Municipal Office will be closed from Monday, April 28th to Wednesday, April 30 for staff to attend the Manitoba Municipal Administrators’ Association (MMAA) Annual Conference. The Office will re-open Thursday, May 1st. Sorry for any inconvenience.
